Is this QR code generator really free?
Yes. Every static QR code is free to create, download and use commercially — no account, no watermark and no scan limits.
Will my QR code expire?
No. Static codes store your content directly in the pattern, so they don't depend on our servers and keep working forever — even if this website disappeared.
What's the difference between static and editable QR codes?
A static code can't be changed after printing. An editable (dynamic) code points to a short link that you can update later and shows scan statistics. Editable codes are coming soon as an optional extra; static codes stay free.
Can I make a QR code for Venmo, PayPal or Instagram?
Yes. Copy your profile or payment link, paste it into the Website field, and add a "Pay here" or "Follow us" frame.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Upload a logo in the Logo tab and we automatically raise the error correction so the code still scans. The file never leaves your device.
Which file format should I use for print?
SVG for professional printing — it scales to any size without blurring. PNG at 2048 px or larger works for most other uses, and PDF is handy for sending to a print shop.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your QR code is generated by JavaScript in your browser. The text, Wi-Fi passwords and logos you enter are never uploaded.
